由全球規(guī)模的快遞運(yùn)輸公司之一聯(lián)邦快遞資助的奧比斯第三代“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”飛抵遼寧省沈陽(yáng)市,執(zhí)行其眼科培訓(xùn)項(xiàng)目,包括為期三周的人員技能培訓(xùn)和免費(fèi)眼科篩查和手術(shù),以增強(qiáng)當(dāng)?shù)厝藛T的業(yè)務(wù)技能,幫助改善當(dāng)?shù)匮奂不颊叩纳钯|(zhì)量。
聯(lián)邦快遞在過(guò)去33年里鼎力支持奧比斯在全球的防盲、治盲救助行動(dòng),提供了價(jià)值2200多萬(wàn)美元的捐款和義務(wù)運(yùn)輸服務(wù)。第三代“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”由聯(lián)邦快遞在2011年向奧比斯捐贈(zèng)一架MD-10型貨機(jī)改裝而成。公司的機(jī)務(wù)維修專家也參與了改裝過(guò)程,將這架貨機(jī)終打造成集教學(xué)、倡議和治療為一體,全球的升級(jí)版空中眼科醫(yī)院。它接替了上一代“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”,繼續(xù)肩負(fù)起在全世界范圍內(nèi)防盲治盲的使命。

第三代奧比斯“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”配備十分完善,擁有一個(gè)46個(gè)座位的醫(yī)療教學(xué)區(qū)、辦公區(qū)、音視頻控制、器械消毒室、激光治療室、觀察室、手術(shù)區(qū)及一個(gè)術(shù)前及術(shù)后照顧室,基于上兩代眼科醫(yī)院的功能,新的飛機(jī)醫(yī)院還利用新科技,配有3D拍攝和遠(yuǎn)程播放系統(tǒng),對(duì)手術(shù)過(guò)程進(jìn)行實(shí)時(shí)轉(zhuǎn)播,便于現(xiàn)場(chǎng)醫(yī)學(xué)交流。
9月5日到23日在沈陽(yáng)的培訓(xùn)項(xiàng)目是第三代奧比斯“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”在中國(guó)的首秀,支持奧比斯在沈陽(yáng)當(dāng)?shù)剡M(jìn)行的全國(guó)防盲培訓(xùn)基地項(xiàng)目。為了保證項(xiàng)目的順利開(kāi)展,聯(lián)邦快遞沈陽(yáng)分公司的員工組成了一支志愿者團(tuán)隊(duì),在飛機(jī)抵達(dá)時(shí),協(xié)助完成醫(yī)療物資的卸載和運(yùn)輸工作。更值得關(guān)注的是,聯(lián)邦快遞有4名飛行員,志愿承擔(dān)了奧比斯“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”的中國(guó)首航任務(wù)。
今年6月,聯(lián)邦快遞向奧比斯做出了一個(gè)價(jià)值537.5萬(wàn)美元的五年資助承諾,為“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”的防盲治盲行動(dòng)提供資金、運(yùn)營(yíng)和物流支持,其中包括資助五個(gè)在全世界范圍內(nèi)的“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”項(xiàng)目,為當(dāng)?shù)匮劭漆t(yī)生和人士提供培訓(xùn)。此外,聯(lián)邦快遞的團(tuán)隊(duì)成員還在諸多方面向奧比斯提供志愿服務(wù),例如義務(wù)承擔(dān)“眼科飛機(jī)醫(yī)院”的飛行任務(wù)、負(fù)責(zé)飛機(jī)的日常維修保養(yǎng)、培訓(xùn)其他志愿飛行員、設(shè)立眼科醫(yī)生獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金計(jì)劃,幫助他們進(jìn)一步深造,提高醫(yī)療水平。
FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, has today announced the expansion of its award-winning service, SenseAware?, into 14 new countries across Europe FedEx customers in Belgium, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany can now stay one step closer to their most critical, high-value and time-sensitive shipments in near real-time with SenseAware.
Customers in Canada will now also benefit from expanded capabilities and availability in that country.
The expansion of the SenseAware service in Europe and Canada means a matching rollout in those countries for the FedEx ShipmentWatch service. FedEx ShipmentWatch, a service of FedEx Custom Critical, leverages SenseAware for a range of sensitive shipments, including one-time and non-FedEx shipments.
SenseAware combines an online application with a multi-sensor device to provide customers that ship high-value or environmentally-sensitive products with near real-time visibility, insight and collaboration across their supply chains. In addition to location monitoring, the service can also monitor temperature, light exposure, relative humidity, shock and barometric pressure. The SenseAware 2000 device supports a dry ice probe which monitors temperatures ranging from -80°C to +60°C (-112°F to +140°F) and a cryogenic probe which can monitor shipments from -195°C to +60°C (-319°F to +140°F).
